For Couples Therapists Working with Infidelity Recovery

We don’t have to carry this work alone.

Working with betrayal changes the emotional landscape of therapy.

The clinical questions are rarely straightforward. Sessions can leave you replaying conversations long after they end. And unless you happen to know other therapists who specialize in this work, you're often left making sense of it on your own.

This consultation group exists to change that.

6-month consultation group | 6–8 licensed therapists.

When you work enough with infidelity, you start to notice something about yourself.

  • Some sessions stay with you for days.

  • You second-guess interventions long after the session ends.

  • You wonder whether you're pushing repair too quickly—or not quickly enough.

  • You carry stories that don't fit neatly into any treatment manual.

  • Sometimes you simply wish someone else understood what happened in the room.

Because we take the work seriously, the work asks a lot from us.

A CONSULTATION GROUP BUILT AROUND A THOUGHTFUL COMMUNITY

There are plenty of trainings that teach interventions.

This isn't another training.

This is a small group of experienced couples therapists who meet consistently enough to know one another's work, think together about difficult cases, and support one another through one of the most emotionally demanding specialties in our field.

The goal isn't to have all the answers.

It's to become better clinicians because we're no longer thinking alone.

The conversations that we’ll have:

Complex Cases

When treatment feels stuck or confusing

Countertransference

Understanding what your own reactions are telling you

Sustainability

Doing meaningful work without becoming emotionally depleted

Clinical Decision Making

Knowing when to challenge, when to slow down, and when to wait

Ethics and Boundaries

Navigating difficlut clinical dilemmas without easy answers

Community

Building relationships with colleagues who genuinely understand this work

About Me

I've spent much of my career working with couples recovering from betrayal. Over time, I've realized that therapists doing this work often need the same thing our clients do—a place where complexity can be held without rushing toward certainty.

My role isn't to be the smartest person in the room.

It's to help create the kind of room where thoughtful clinicians can think together.

I'm a licensed clinical psychologist with eleven years of post-licensure experience. My clinical work centers on couples navigating high-conflict, high-stakes relational dynamics—betrayal, disconnection, long-standing gridlock.

I've been providing clinical supervision and consultation—formally and informally—for most of my career. What I've found is that the consultation relationships that work best aren't the ones where I tell you what to do with a case. They're the ones where we slow down enough to notice what's actually happening—in the room with your client, and in you.

IS THIS A FIT?

Consultation works best when the fit is real.

THIS IS A GOOD FIT IF YOU…

  • Licensed couples therapists

  • Currently treating at least one infidelity recovery couple

  • Comfortable discussing real clinical dilemmas

  • Interested in thoughtful discussion rather than quick fixes

  • Looking for collegial community

THIS IS NOT A FIT IF YOU…

  • Therapists seeking supervision toward licensure

  • Clinicians without active betrayal cases

  • People looking primarily for didactic training

  • Therapists wanting prescriptive protocols for every situation

INVESTMENT

Six months gives relationships time to form.

The value of this group isn't just six meetings.

It's that over six months you begin recognizing one another's cases, thinking styles, strengths, and blind spots. The conversations become richer because you're building on shared context rather than starting over each month.

NEXT STEPS

If you’ve been looking for colleagues who understand this work…

…I’d love to share this space with you.

I'm collecting interest before scheduling the first cohort.

If this sounds like the kind of community you’ve been wishing existed, join the interest list. Once enough therapists are interested, I’ll send proposed dates for the first group.

No commitment. Just let me know you'd like to hear when the first cohort opens.
